Yes. Landmark is set up to travel anywhere within the contiguous
states
and will consider international opportunities.
Two problems create hurdles for designers, architects, and builders.
First ... Its difficult to find a company that specializes in authentic, large-scale finishing.
Secondly ... Getting this type of work done in a timely manner is almost unheard of.
Landmark’s extensive knowledge of materials, innovative techniques,
and use of modern effiencies transcended these hurdles.
We set out to offer what no one else was offering.
While this depends primarily on the size of the room and it’s intricacies, with a
verbal description and drawings or photographs, we can provide a fairly accurate time
estimate.
Though our finishes often have 6-8 applications, our use of modern spray
technology dramatically
decreases time spent on each step. We use a crew
appropriate to the size of the job in order to
push the process to a timely end.
While this depends on the look you are going for, we strongly believe in using the best
and proven
traditional materials.
Since many of the great rooms of the past
were finished in shellacs, we often
recommend them.
However, varnishes are also used
from time to time. Both have different advantages.
Gently buffing out the top coat and applying a fine wax is our final step.
This completes a look and feel, unsurpassed in beauty and authenticity.
Spraying and brushing are common application techniques, both of which
have distinctive advantages
and disadvantages.
To achieve a uniform colorization,
smooth and even finish spraying works best.
Brushing offers a “hand worked” look.
While we incorporate both methods,
we primarily spray
our finishes because of the quality control
and consistency
it provides.
Yes. We take extraordinary steps to make it safe through extensive
and innovative tenting and
ventilation methods.
Safety and cleanliness
at our job-site mean a great deal to us and can never
be compromised.
We take great pride in respecting
your space
while transforming it to a beautiful finish.
